Wenbin Zhang

If you visit Independent and ask for ‘Wenbin,’ you may get some puzzled looks.   You see, we call him “Magic” around these parts.

Wenbin is a lean, mean, coding machine.  He’s known for taking down hackers, jumping tall buildings in a single bound, and typing fast.  Yes, folks he is one heck of a super-hero.  But every Superman has his Kryptonite.  His only weakness?  Office snacks.  Whether it be cookies, pop-tarts, or cereal bars, you can bet they’ll disappear from our office faster than we can stock them.

5 Questions for Magic:

1) What do you like about Independent, and working here?

The people here are nice; they’re also exciting to work with.  Just about every day, I have the chance to build something that I’ve never thought of or try something new.

2) If you could have any super power, what would it be and why?

Invisibility – so that I can take as many cookies as I want without anyone noticing.

3) What is one fun fact about you?

I am the only one from my family in this country. LONELY!

4) What would your dream project be?

Develop an application which is used by millions of people all around the world.  So that when I see people using it, I can proudly say: “Hey, I built that!”

5) What is one of your favorite quotes?
