New Haven Coworking Space: The Grove

Last week, we published a post about the Bourse, a new coworking space in New Haven.

But there’s more happening in New Haven than just that. The Grove, another coworking space designed to inspire networking and collaboration, is having its launch party on Thursday, September 9th.

Located at 71 Orange St, in the heart of New Haven, the Grove aims to provide “a new kind of space that encourages and supports people in their work and the development of new ideas.” By working at a coworking space, individuals and teams can share insights while still working independently.  A coworking space like the Grove is located in New Haven because it has an up and coming intellectual young minds with several colleges and universities located within reasonable driving distance.

A full time membership, which includes unlimited access to the Grove, 12 hours of meeting space per month, and the access to attend any Grove-sponsored events, is $250/month.  If you are looking for more information, you can visit their Facebook or Twitter page, or email them at [email protected]

As a footnote, Ctech’s 25 Science Park business incubator (affiliated with Connecticut Innovations and the state’s incubator grant program) has moved to a new, expanded spot at 5 Science Park.  That space is reportedly having a launch party later in September.

So innovation is on the march in New Haven, it would seem.
