The SBIR & Global Trade Summit (Twitter: @CTSBIR) will be in Connecticut from July 24th thru the 26th. During the 2+ days of activity, event organizers are encouraging all participants, from small businesses to global corporations, to seize a rare chance for networking, learning, and of course, growth opportunities.

Presentations and workshops to include General Sessions, Innovation Workshops, Global Trade Workshops, and even One-on-One Meetings. Topics of discussion will include everything from President Obama’s recently announced vision for export, to the future of personalized medicine, and even workshops specifically designed to Perfect Your Pitch, or meet new connections through a light-hearted round of network speed dating.

Experts will be on-hand to show you how to leverage the power of your small business to tap into some of the world’s most active and successful markets.

The SBIR & Global Trade Summit is not your average networking session. The event will go far beyond ‘names, faces, and business cards’ to engage participants in ways that cut right to the chase- what can be done to hit the ground running and move forward?

For starters, small business attendees will have the chance to set private appointments to discuss their unique technologies and products with industry experts. A poster show scheduled for the 25th gives small businesses a platform for generating interest and collaborating in a high-energy, low-risk setting.
