Besides bringing community members together for pizza, beer, and light-hearted networking, LaunchHaven has a strong focus on the elevator pitch. An essential part of an entrepreneur’s skill set, the elevator pitch is a quick summary of the startup, its general business model, and the problem that it’s going to solve. Often, the language of the pitch itself will vary, depending upon who is in the audience. It is because of this that entrepreneurs must be able to “think fast” and tailor their pitch on the fly.

We want to help.

This month, we’ll be hosting a specialized improv workshop that will be hosted by a special guest (TBA). Pitches will take on a new form, as entrepreneurs sharpen their ability to successfully pivot and move forward with a pitch when the pressure is on.

Come learn how to craft your pitch when life throws you a curveball — or just come to watch the ensuing hilarity!

If you’d like to attend this month’s event, you must RSVP here. The cost is $10 to offset food/drink. Note that cash will not be accepted, even on the night of the event. Additionally, registration will close at 4:30pm on the day of the event.
