In August of 2012, five Connecticut startups converged on LaunchHaven to pitch their products, and compete to earn the chance to repitch at DEMO.

By the end of the night, which was co-sponsored by Startup Connecticut, eBrevia was selected to move on to the next round, and became one of four Startup America companies nationally presenting on the DEMO main stage.

Over this last weekend, health and wellness-minded entrepreneurs, engineers, and developers came together as part of Startup Weekend Hartford HEALTH, Hartford’s second annual Startup Weekend. The winners were Movid (a platform for physical therapy videos), eGency (an application to help healthcare consumers make choices based on wait times at facilities), and Farmer’s Garden (a collaborative gardening, local food app). Congratulations to the winners, and everyone who made the event possible.
