Are you an entrepreneur with a great idea for a software product, or a service that is “software-enabled”? In the Fall of 2012, join us for a course designed for founders and others with no prior programming knowledge called “Become Your Own Technical Co-Founder.”  For 10 weeks, about 20 participants will spend two nights a week learning to code from an experienced instructor. (You will produce *working code* in these classes).

Every other week, the Whiteboard’s very own in-house software engineer will share with the community some of his strategies for successful development. This week, we cover the 5 things that your Requirements Document must have in order to help you get your project on the right track.

Program or be programmed. We review Codecademy, courseware to help you learn Javascript, one of the core languages of the web. If you’re learning to program, or want to, this is a must read.
